11th Annual National Treasures: Party at Point Park

“Partner with YOUR Park”

The 11th annual “National Treasures” at Point Park, benefiting National Park Partners is happening Thursday, September 5th from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. National Treasures promises to be a casual evening of great music, a delicious southern comfort food buffet dinner, complimentary drinks, breathtaking views of Moccasin Bend and the Tennessee River Valley, and fellowship with friends who love our community’s National Park.

Tickets to National Treasures are $75 each or $130 per couple, with a portion of the ticket cost being a tax-deductible donation. Special "Honored Guest" tickets available at $250 for two (with program recognition). For more information, call (423) 648-5623.

You can also purchase tickets directly http://buytickets.at/nationalparkpartners/288462. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Friday, August 30th.

Presented by the First Tennessee Foundation and McKee Foods, this year’s theme is “Partner with YOUR Park.” Guests will gather inside the iconic Point Park, with plenty of opportunity to stroll the paths of Point Park, stop by the photo booth with the National Park Rangers, and enjoy the smooth sounds of Chattanooga’s own Power Players, from the base of the New York Peace Monument. Umbrella Rock again will open for guests to have photos made at Chattanooga’s first tourist attraction (Umbrella Rock remains closed during the year and is open only for this special event).  The silent auction will feature a wide variety of items from local stores, restaurants, and attractions; including specialty baskets and experiences available for bid.

In 2018 alone, over 945,000 people from all over the world visited the six units of our community’s National Park – Chickamauga Battlefield, Lookout Mountain Battlefield, Missionary Ridge, Moccasin Bend, Orchard Knob, and Signal Point.

“Our National Park supports hundreds of private sector jobs and generates around $70 million in economic impact, year in and year out. National Treasures is a wonderful opportunity for folks to celebrate this tremendous community asset and to give back while enjoying a beautiful evening at the Park,” says Tricia King Mims, Executive Director of National Park Partners.

Proceeds from the event support the mission of National Park Partners, to champion the conservation of the natural, historic, and cultural resources of Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park, including Moccasin Bend National Archeological District. National Park Partners engages current and future generations in preserving and promoting the stories of these national treasures, through community partnerships, recreational and educational programming, and landscape and monument restoration.

Be a “Partner with YOUR Park” at National Treasures!
